This month, Viva Forever! – a musical based on the songs of the Spice Girls – will make its West End debut, giving fans of Sporty, Scary, Ginger, Baby and Posh another reason to head to London.

If you’re looking to add a little extra zig-a-zig-ahhh and Girl Power to your stay in the capital, keep on reading – we’ve pulled together a list of Spice Girls landmarks and revealed the girls’ favourite hang-outs to help you Spice up your next trip to London.

Our top 3 Spice Girls landmarks:

1. Royal Albert Hall
In their first movie: Spice World, the girls are headlining at the Royal Albert Hall, making this iconic London music venue one of the biggest Spice landmarks in the capital.

2. Tower Bridge
She may now be one of fashion’s first ladies, but Victoria Beckham has many unsung talents – notably bus-driving. Who could forget the scene in Spice World where Victoria takes to the wheel shouting “hold on to your knickers girls!” and drives the double decker Spice Bus across a split Tower Bridge?

3. The Thames
In Spice World, the girls also found themselves in a spot of bother when Sporty, Posh and two fans fell from a boat into the Thames – and Posh famously urged Scary Spice to help fish them out, exclaiming her dress was “dry clean only!”

Some of the girls’ favourite London hangouts:

1. Julie’s Restaurant, Notting Hill
Julie’s Restaurant and Bar in Notting Hill is a firm favourite with Ginger Spice Geri Halliwell. Here you’ll find organic food and plush chesterfield sofas as well as a leafy garden terrace. Julie’s is also popular with Morrissey, Gwyneth Paltrow and Jeremy Paxman, so who knows who you might bump into if you stop by for a spot of lunch?

2. The Ivy, Covent Garden
One of London’s busiest celebrity hang-outs, The Ivy is one of London’s most fashionable restaurants – so it’s unsurprising then that it is one of David and Victoria Beckham’s favourite haunts. David even encouraged people visiting London for the Olympics to pay the restaurant a visit.

3. Gilgamesh, Camden
This glamorous Pan-Asian restaurant, bar and longue is one of London’s go-to party venues for the young and fashionable – counting Sarah Harding and Baby Spice Emma Bunton among its regulars.
